Erectile Dysfunction Clinic

This is a Urology Nurse Specialist run service which provides assessment, support and treatment to men with Erectile Dysfunction. Treatment options are discussed, preferably with the active involvement of the partner.

Referrals are taken directly from GPs and also from other hospital departments, the Community Diabetic Nurse Specialist and the Psychosexual Counselling Service.

The aims of the clinic are:

  • To re-establish patient and partner satisfaction with sexual activity and function
  • To provide ongoing support to the patient, whether treated or not, and to promote health education, information and training
  • To recognise and refer those patients who require further investigation or specialist management, either by a Urologist or by the Psychosexual Counselling Service.

Curing Chronic Erectile Dysfunction

Our body slowly breaks down as we get older. For some men it happens earlier than others, but at some point we will not be able to do the things we used to. For instance a football player will not be able to perform as well in his 50s as he did in his 30s. This is not a degenerative condition, it is simply age catching up on us.

One condition that many men suffer when they get older is dysfonction érectile permanente qui se traite avec médicaments sur ordonnance . These can be very troubling problems for both the male and his sexual partner.

The inability to get an erection, or the inability for the erection to last long enough to complete sexual intercourse is both embarrassing and frustrating to the individual that has the condition.

Thankfully there are treatment options available for those who suffer from erectile problems, but before we discuss those, you need to speak with your doctor. Your doctor is the only one who will be able to diagnosis your condition, and if you give them full disclosure they will be able to help you tremendously.

Your doctor may recommend you try eating certain foods or try taking certain herbal supplements. In many cases your doctor will recommend products such as Viagra that will help stimulate your penis and allow for a long lasting erection.
